At lululemon, we’re committed to an equitable, inclusive future
that fosters growth—without exception.

We created IDEA, or Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Action, to help foster a culture of inclusion where diversity is celebrated, equity is the norm, and action is the commitment. IDEA allows us to innovate solutions, products and experiences that empower diversity.

The Proud and Present capsule.

We believe that everyone has the right to be well. And the path to wellbeing is only possible when the tools, support, and resources are made accessible to all. We’re investing in wellbeing for all through the lululemon Centre for Social Impact.

Our product was designed to have a graphic expression that ranged from overt to covert. We designed these graphics on a spectrum because we have heard loud and clear from the community that there are areas in the world in which they feel safe to overtly support or represent the LGBTQ2IA+ community and areas in which they don't. This is an important sentiment for us and will continue to thread through how we present our products and graphics go forward.

These graphics are made up of some of the key messages from a People Network survey. The values that came out of the survey were Community, Diversity, Inclusion, and Love. The abstract figures represent connection, partnership and community. The plus sign is for inclusion, the heart is for love.

Pride celebrates how far we’ve come and where we’re going. But it’s more than just a party.

Show up. Show out. Show love in our Proud and Present capsule.

A message from our CEO, Calvin McDonald.

At lululemon, we’re on a journey to drive meaningful, lasting change in the world—and promote wellbeing across our communities. As part of our Impact Agenda, we’re accelerating programmes to become a more inclusive and diverse company.

After many real and impactful conversations with our underrepresented employees and our greater community, we heard loud and clear that we need to evolve behaviours both within our own walls and our collective.

IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Action) focuses on making systemic changes. We're determined to be accountable, engaged, and to act in allyship.

We are proud of the progress we’re making and are ensuring IDEA is an essential element of lululemon’s culture that we will continue to embrace and grow.

Our goal: to reflect the diversity of the communities in which we operate, by 2025.

To achieve this, we will increase representation of racially diverse backgrounds to at least:

of assistant store managers, directors, and above by 2023.

of all employees in our global stores by 20231.

1 Includes stores in North America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and Middle East.

We have provided greater access to movement and mindfulness for one million people worldwide through our social impact grants and partnerships with local non-profit organizations.

Win together. Our career development and mentorship programmes actively remove barriers for equity to all communities—with a focus on those who have been historically marginalised.

Progress in motion. Inclusion is central to our design process. From product development to store accessibility, we strive to be inclusive of all bodies, gender identities, and abilities.
